ForteTheWay’s old website was my very first attempt at web design, and honestly, it didn’t do justice to how much ForteTheWay had grown.
I wanted to redesign the website to reflect my adventurous travel style and unique approach to travel planning, WHILE empowering people with confidence to take the leap and book the flight!
My goal was to create a site that not only inspires travellers to book their dream trips but also provides them with the practical tools and resources to make it happen.
I created a user-friendly experience that makes it easy for visitors to access valuable information, whether they want to read about my travel experiences, book a one-on-one call for personalised trip planning, or join a group trip to explore with like-minded people.

ForteTheWay began as a delightful accident when I started sharing my adventures on Instagram with friends and family. As time went on, I found that more and more people were reaching out for help with their travel plans and looking for the confidence to set off on their own adventures, especially solo.
Now, ForteTheWay has grown and evolved into honestly, something beyond my wildest dreams that I feel incredible gratitude for every single day.
My mission with ForteTheWay is to help people start their travel adventure and make the BEST memories.
ForteTheWay provides valuable tips for planning unforgettable trips and offers one-on-one calls for custom travel planning. While I will always keep ForteTheWay as a passion project and continue to share a ton of FREE resources for fellow adventurers.
I’m also thrilled that we are now organising group trips. These group trips are focused on Adventure and Connection, at a budget-friendly cost to create even more opportunities for people to gain the confidence to travel solo and make memories that last a lifetime.
What I did
Rebuilt the whole ForteTheWay website completely from scratch without using other templates or themes.
(Important to note that I backed up the old website to save all of the old Blog material and then installed these onto the new site, using the new design)
Created a website that TRULY reflected who I am as a person, my adventurous travel style and my desire to always push myself beyond my comfort zone to try new things and have amazing experiences.
As I mentioned, ForteTheWay is a huge passion project for me and I was SOO excited to create a website that broke the design “rules” (who even made them anyway?) and to push myself to create for the LOVE of creating something that made me smile.
I truly LOVE this website so much because it’s THE most me website ever and it’s captures the direction & new message I’m aiming to create at ForteTheWay PERFECTLY.

Detailed blogposts sharing all the mistakes I’ve made and everything I’ve learned from them so that you don’t need to make the same mistakes. I tell you literally EVERYTHING i’ve learned so far.
FREE itineraries to some of the best places in the world so that you can plan your perfect trip!
As I said ForteTheWay is my passion project and so the site and everything to do with ForteTheWay will always be a work in process and there is SO much more posts and information to come.

I wanted to make the group trip experience as smooth and exciting as possible, so I created a dedicated hub for travellers once they pay their deposit. This hub is designed to provide a first-class experience from the very beginning.

Booking & Payment Process
To keep things inline with one of our core-values of being budget-friendly, I set up multiple payment plan options that are processed automatically. This way keeps things flexible and allows for even more people to join the adventure.
It also means much less admin for me, so that I can focus on getting to know those who will be on the trip & ensuring everything is organised.
Detailed Itinerary
Those who book onto the group trip will receive a comprehensive itinerary that outlines everything we have planned, from daily activities to accommodation, transport & restaurants. This ensures everyone knows exactly what to expect and can get excited for the adventure!
Information Hub
In the hub, travellers can easily upload important information like allergen details, dietary requirements, and passport info. They can also sign any necessary contracts, all in one spot! This means that we don’t need to spend time going back & fourth on emails to ensure I have everything I need to make their trip as enjoyable and safe as possible.
Group Chat & Private Messaging
To help everyone connect before the trip, they’re added to a group chat where they can meet their new besties! The group also allows me to share specific packing tips and the best international flight deals for each group trip, in the chat to ensure everyone is ready. Those who booked onto the trip can also message both Santi (my business partner for the group trips) and me privately with any concerns, questions, or ideas they have for the trip—because it’s THEIR trip after all!

Impact
This transformation has been a game-changer for me! I now have the confidence to treat ForteTheWay as a legit business instead of just a side hobby, and that’s HUGE.
It has allowed me to shift the messaging behind ForteTheWay from simply sharing my travels to genuinely inspiring others to embark on their own adventures, especially solo, by equipping them with the right tools and insights.
I’m building deeper connections with the community I’ve cultivated on social media.
A whole new audience—those who don’t follow me yet—can discover my content thanks to my optimized blog posts.
My process for booking calls and creating travel plans is now smooth and organized—no more time wasted going back and forth in the DMs! Even before the official launch, I’ve seen a significant increase in inquiries for travel planning.
Over time, this site is set to generate passive income through blog traffic and sales of digital downloadable guides.
With the addition of group trips, everything has become streamlined, I no longer need to chase down payments, important info, or contracts. I can focus on delivering incredible travel experiences!
It also creates a space for trip participants to connect ahead of time, boosting their confidence and creating a sense of community.
